Senior leaders to share insights on government transformation at Innovation 2025

Thousands of delegates are expected to flock to London later this month to hear how government leaders from around the world are innovating to deliver high-quality services for citizens.

Innovation 2025 will be held at Excel London on 25-26 March 2025, with senior speakers from the UK government including Cabinet Office permanent secretary and UK government chief operating officer Cat Little, Department for Science, Innovation and Technology permanent secretary Sarah Munby, and David Knott, chief technology officer for the UK Government.

The conference agenda has been developed with the support of event co-hosts the UK Cabinet Office and Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, and will cover key topics including: how to apply AI in government; how digital credentials can make it easier to interact with government; getting procurement right; and how to tackle groupthink in government.

Cat Little said that, building on the success of the last two years, she was excited to be hosting Innovation 2025.

“Once again, this event will bring together public servants from across the UK Civil Service, wider public service, and from around the world to share examples of innovation, meet their peers and learn from each other.”

International speakers include Stephen Burt, the chief data officer of Canada; Goh Wei Boon, chief executive, Government Technology Agency, Singapore; Luukas Ilves, advisor to the deputy prime minister, Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine; Paul Wagner, the chief executive of the Canadian Digital Service; and Gillian Dorner, deputy director, Public Governance Directorate, OECD.
